I serve professionally as a holistic health educator, recovery consultant, addiction counselor, faculty member, and licensed/board-certified therapeutic massage and bodywork therapist.
Over the last two decades, I have facilitated groups and individual sessions for health care professionals, for people in recovery from substance use disorders and for caregivers, with an emphasis on assisting individuals in facilitating their own healing process. Over the last decade I have been led to facilitate healing circles with community trauma, mass shooting and gang violence survivors, war veterans, senior citizens, and health care professionals experiencing moral injury.
My trust in the miracles of mutual support, vicarious resilience and post traumatic growth guides my primary focus in assisting human hearts to facilitate their own empowered restorative process.
The edge practice continues to be foundational in allowing me to sustain a successful and gratifying career as a caregiver to caregivers and in my additional roles as a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, teacher and life-long learner. I am eager and delighted to share the Edge Express, a straightforward and effective self-care skill set that has helped me to develop viable self-care capacity and enhance personal well-being.
